No More Lives Lost Campaign – Hold NJ Transit and Coach USA Accountable for Killing Pedestrians
In 2012, Naomi's only child Deshon was murdered purposely by Coach USA bus drivers who accelerate the bus and then jumped the curb aiming at the bus towards her son. He was killed by being mowed down in vain by a Coach USA deadly bus driver Wilson Romain using an NJ Transit bus as his choice of weapon to kill Naomi's son. While initially, Bloomfield, New Jersey officers did not inform Johnson's family of their loved one's killer that person was not charged because the case was botched up by Coach USA attorney Michael Tuzzio and Essex County Prosecutor Mike Lugar blaming the talk show host's son or his deaths the rule it as an accident.
During an interview at the Showkase Show in January 2014 and Noneillah Talk Show, Naomi described receiving the call that the Bloomfield, New Jersey Police label her son as a package, not a human being. When she went to the police station, they told Naomi her son was in a bus accident. Naomi said the police deliverance of her son's death led her to believe her son was on the bus or in a car when the incident occurred. Sadly, to say, Naomi's sister went to the news and the internet to learn the real truth about her nephew's death. On the news and online news is stated that the bus driver ran over, Naomi's only child twice and then dragged him.
Naomi credited her personal experience with pedestrian death violence caused by NJ Transit/ Coach USA bus and her interview with ShowKase Show host to drive Naomi to host and create the Noneillah Talk Show segments to victims killed in vain by the bus agencies.
In a blog link post published by Medium she talks about the mistreatment by a retired Judge Lawrence, the prosecutors, her hired an attorney, and the struggles of talking about her son and his injustice murder. Initially, she was afraid to speak out because she thought she "would be seen as exploiting the problem". She did not decide to take action until years later.
In 2014, Naomi launched an article on her Soulality Blog for to "Shine A Light" campaign. Since the articles, posts on social media, and podcasts interviewed family members whose loved ones has been killed by NJ Transit and Coach USA bus driver had been reaching out to her to share their story. Naomi made an appearance on multifarious podcast talk shows, radio shows, community free speech cable television to spread the word on how she has been mistreated and the mishandling of her only child's injustice death by the authorities. Her guest appearances were on WBLS radio personality The Jeff Foxx, Wil Strayhorn, WMAP Radio, Dark XoDus, DJ Cisco Radio Show, Ridin Durty Radio, Vigilantes Radio Show, SNVLIFE SHOW, Ask Nathanielcoy, The Lizy-T-Show, Lise Davis Show, FIOS NEWS, Yaya Diamonds Dream Chaser Radio, News 12, Montclair Patch and many other local media outlets.
Naomi said she just does not want to stop sharing her story with underground or local media sources. She wants to take her story to international news outlets and talk shows because it is a shame how the former Governor Chris Christie, Governor Phil Murphy, NJ Transit, Coach USA, each town prosecutor, bus Unions, other politicians are sweeping these deaths under the rug as if these massive killings by the transportation agency bus drivers are not occurring in New Jersey. Naomi, said, where are the acknowledgment from the Trenton Democrats or Republicans when pedestrians and cyclists are killed? They don't say anything. They keep the dangerous streets in the same condition. Pedestrians are sitting ducks in New Jersey, where local, county, and state officials have been unwilling to afford them real protection from bus drivers and trains engineers with no regard for human life. The counties just bag them and tag them. Unfortunately, there are no strong penalties against those who killed the pedestrians. Nothing has been done to improve pedestrian safety when former Governor Chris Christie was in office and now Governor Phil Murphy.
This talk show host and activist said she is going to continue to be the voice of the voiceless until she sees a law pass to hold these drivers accountable for murder.
Naomi chose to fight against the corruption and cover-up of NJ Transit and Coach USA victim's death epidemic, with the goal to create a PSA for pedestrians killed by the transportation agencies drivers, and a safe community that would spread awareness of corruption and mental abuse that the bus companies and prosecutor conflicts with the victim's families. Moreover, to shine the light on the conjoin political corruption relationships between the bus companies and the prosecutor's office in a pedestrian deaths cover-up for the agency's bus drivers.
Naomi is seeking to collaborate with companies, celebrities, other victims, and their family members to help with fundraising in efforts to raise over $40,000 to help to fight the injustice of this unspeakable crime of the killing epidemic. She wants to raise money to start a central place memorial for the victim's family to come together for moral support, help with family companionship due to the loss of their loved ones, research to decrease the deaths and pay for a legislature to pass a bill and create a billboard. Naomi is a member of the NAACP; a National Network agency and she is asking them for their help with the campaign.
