Mothers against World Wide Public Transportation Drivers Driving Reckless and Ending Their Loved One's Lives

Mothers against World Wide Public

Transportation (NJ Transit, Community Coach

USA, School Bus, and MTA) Drivers Driving

Reckless and Ending Their Loved One's Lives

Mothers Against World Wide Public Transportation Drivers  Driving Reckless and Ending Their Loved One's Lives) is a campaign in the United States that seeks to stop reckless NJ Transit, Coach USA and other reckless state-run transportation, create a public memorial in (memorizes/recognition/ pay homage) of the innocent pedestrian who were killed in vain by reckless bus drivers, support those affected by reckless bus drivers, create stiffer penalty for bus driver, allow federal government to take over state-run transportation investigation so there will not be any state political cover-ups and CDL license taken away, prohibit state-run transportation drivers who killed pedestrian to drive again, overall push for stricter law policy for drivers and company.

The  Deshon Johnson bereaved parent based organization was founded in 2013 in New Jersey by Naomi Johnson after her 22-year-old son was killed by Wilson Romaine Coach USA Community bus driver operating NJ Transit bus 709. (MAWWPTDD RETLOL) research shows that bus driver reckless driver killing innocent pedestrian death rate percentage is high. NJ Transit /Community Coach USA/ MTA and other bus company are not holding these drivers accountable. They deem all of these death cases as an accident which is not fair to the victims love ones. It shows that their child/children (is/are) of no value. It is sad when the justice system values animal’s life more than human life which is unfair. The human life keeps the world economy going by paying wages to Uncle Sam and going to school to be a productive part of society; not animals. Once the stiffer law penalty is in place the senseless death would stop because they know there will be some repercussions.

And to have the passengers who are taken public transportation to stop paying for these reckless human killing machines action by increasing bus fare to pay off millions of dollars of lawsuits giving to the love one's survivors. These bus companies’ priorities are the screw up because they are holding the victims reliable for their demise because they know the deceased cannot talk. The bus companies also are having the passengers paying off these astronomical amounts of lawsuits.

Some these NJ Transit subcontract bus companies like Community Coach
The USA always quick to settle so it will be close information with a gauge order in place and the public will not know how much they are paying the victims family. On the other hand, if the case goes to trail it becomes open information to the public and it can be used against them in futures cases. I
think it's only fair that the public knows where all of their tax dollars are going towards and where the increasing fare is going towards. It’s sad that everyone is paying the ramification of these reckless bus drivers’ actions.

Even the workers who are employed with NJ Transit  is paying too because they have not received a pay increase going on 8 years due to all of these
individuals 2.5 million dollars lawsuits. NJ Transit to Pay $2.5M

These lawyers think suing these bus companies is the only means of getting justice. It’s not because the problem still exists. The lawyers is outlying their pockets and the family is temporally benefitting the finical gain but once the money is gone the family is still suffering the loss of their loved ones going to the grave, the bus companies is still generating money and the murder reckless bus drivers are alive with his or her family and going work back to work for the company. The survivor victim families still lose out; there is no justice.

Paying out countless lawsuits is just like giving a cancer victim Chemotherapy that is masking the ailment but not cures/treating the cause. The cancer epidemic is still spreading killing innocent people just like these reckless bus drivers. They are cancer to the world looking to take another innocent victims life. These reckless bus drivers operating the bus with suspend licenses, texting, criminal records, alcohols in their blood, masturbating, driving under influence of legal or illegal drugs, counting tickets, reading a magazine, seeing their victims and refusing to stop the bus killing an innocent person. Yet, they keep their jobs putting more people lives in harm.

While the reckless bus drivers not paying for these countless deaths that they should be held accountable for their actions. These murders get to go back to their loved ones and work. Thus far the victims and the family suffer. All of these bus companies that is harboring killer reckless bus drivers are promoting legalize murder is to be okay. A bus is a weapon like a gun they are both handled by heartless insensitive people who do not give a shit about another human being life. I believe a person with a gun can go to jail by killing a person whether it’s directly or indirectly and get charged, why not a reckless bus driver. When a reckless bus driver sees their victim and still proceed to kill them the justice system call it an accident but when a reckless gunman does not kill their target victim and kill an innocent person the justice system call it murder. What are the different both heartless people took an innocent life? The Politician passes a law and raise awareness of gun violence but not reckless bus driver killing violence.

Families Of People Killed By Reckless Drivers Ask DAs To Do Their Jobs http://gothamist.com/2015/01/12/reckless_driving_rally_nyc.php

You  cannot get family supporting their love ones death  like this in New Jersey
The DA only focused as much attention on motor vehicle deaths as shooting deaths, we might solve this probelm. The restrictive guns laws in NYC are working, as evident by the lower homocide rate by gun, when comapred to motor vehicle.
We need to focus on stopping the car killing now... How can you kill someone with a car, and be charged with nothing? That is nutbags!

Here the comments from concern citizens in this matter.

  • Good for them. Never stop shouting.

I'd like to hear the REASONS why the DAs never charge people. What is the possible reason they could have?

The way the law is written is insane and fucked up - unless they were drunk or ran away from the scene, the prosecutor has to prove they were out driving trying to kill someone. Which is obviously impossible to prove in 99% of cases. So drivers can drive as recklessly as they like, and kill as many people as they like, and get away with it.

But isn't there reckless manslaughter or something? Where I drop a hammer off a building and kill a guy and I am punished for being an asshole?

But you didn't intend to be an A-hole when the police arrive.
Rewriting the law seems to be a rather simple formality.
And think of all the lawyers, judges and prisons it will pay. That reason alone should be enough, you would think.

The only option is criminal negligence. The vehicular homicide statutes are limited to impairment, but general criminal negligence that results in death should still apply. One problem, though, is that there's a belief that juries won't convict for that because they identify more with drivers. Also, even that won't get you jail time, as the maximum sentence is 4 years probation. Still would be nice if they went for those 4 years.
What we really need are better laws, but there's still a way around it.

But how come this weird "law" only seems to exist in NYC? In any other city, this is a really big deal, I mean, in general people's lives are ruined if indicted on vehicular manslaughter or what not - they serve time, etc. At least in the movies that's how it go.

                            • Avatar

Other states have good all-purpose traffic violence statues for situations like this. "Failure to maintain control of your vehicle" is one. New York doesn't have that law for some reason. So if a cab driver winds up on the sidewalk on Columbus Ave, he hasn't made a moving violation somehow.

But I feel like the moving violations aren't even being enforced. The man that killed little Allison Liao got tickets at least, but then they were DISMISSED. I just don't get it, it seems like some deep insidious bullshit going on here.

You're right. They aren't. Within the bounds of the city, there is virtually no fear on the part of drivers that they might be pulled over for anything. Running red lights, turning without signaling, speeding, failure to yield to pedestrians, driving and parking in bike lanes, etc... I've yet to witness someone being pulled over for any of these constant and life-threatening moving violations.

Does no one have a sense of honor and responsibility? Just because no one is watching, endangering lives is fine?

                                              Let's be real.
There are some people who skirt the law because they're assholes, and they genuinely don't care about the consequences of their actions.
And then there are some who have just been lucky enough to never face the consequences of their actions and haven't had to own up to the fact that their behavior is bad. Hopefully they never have to learn the hard way.
Finally, there are some very bright, very safe people who (lucky for all of us) understand how dangerous bad behavior is without having to take unnecessary risks.
I'll dare to say, if you judged me at my worst moment, you might think I was part of group 1, even if I was really part of group 2 for 1% of the time, and in group 3 the other 99%.
tl;dr - everyone looks like an asshole to someone else sometimes.

I suppose everyone is an asshole sometimes, but I can honestly say that, if someone acts recklessly and endangers lives just because no one is there to stop them, that makes them a pretty terrible person.

                                                    • Avatar

Also, I think it's the driving culture here - I have driven in lots of other places and I see how new drivers develop terrible habits in NY because no one taught them otherwise, and everyone else drives maniacally so really, it's all they know. Now, let's say you are a relatively good, safe driver - If you are driving at a normal speed, someone is bound to tail you and get in your ass until you lose your mind. If you slow down for pedestrians, someone behind honks at you and swerves around you to make the turn at the same time. A friend of mine got hit like that and sadly lost his dog. There's massive pressure to drive fast, get there as quick as you can and cut corners too. And you KNOW 99.9% no one will stop you if you do it.

                                                        • Avatar

Agreed, there is a lot of pressure to drive badly… you have to steel yourself and follow the rules no matter how insane everyone around you is acting. It's stressful to be honked at every time I slow down at a yellow light and stop, but I do it anyway. I can see people who are weak-willed being pressured into doing things that are dangerous.
But part of being a responsible adult human being is to do what is right.

100%. This simply does not happen in other places (besides maybe developing countries). It's so rampant here that one would think there was some sort of conspiracy - otherwise it totally defies logic.

Cultural norm. Deaths by automobile are acceptable to the masses.
...though this seems to be changing.

WOW that is A LOT of red dots for only a eight year period. I agree that we need to raise awareness for pedestrians. Deaths and prosecute reckless drivers to the fullest extent of the law, especially since this city is made for pedestrians.
I can’t tell you how many times I have seen people in my neighborhood run red lights, speedaround slower drivers and don’t get me started on how they turn corners. This HAS to be how most people die in this city. I off of a pretty major thoroughfare in
Bed-Stuy and I literally watch every corner 5-6 times before I cross when
                                                    walking home.
The way I see people turn off Lewis Avenue onto side streets is frightening, there is literally NO reduction in speed whatsoever. I thought I could watch and be wary and look out for turn signal. Until a guy almost turned into me walking home. I saw him coming but since HIS TURN SIGNAL WASN’T ON, I figured I could walk since he was going straight. Well he was turning, flew around the corner and almost ran right into me. RIP to the people who have not been so lucky, this needs to stop.

Yep. An SUV on 13th ave just blew through a solid red light and almost hit me. I was halfway across the street AND the red hand just started blinking. So his light had been red - SOLID RED - for awhile.
Also, I drive in Brooklyn. When I go the speed limit, stop at stop signs, slow down for yellow lights and pedestrians, I get honked at, flipped off and drivers swerve around me.

                                                        • Avatar

I used to live quite close to an FDR exit. The neighborhood was mostly residential, but that didn't stop people from exiting the FDR at highway speeds and blasting up the hill and through the red light. A traffic cop could have made a monthly quota in one day just sitting at that intersection. I also witnessed cars run up on the sidewalk more than once, hitting a man right in front of me (and my baby and dog) on one of those occasions. The cabbie who hit the guy backed off the sidewalk (nearly ramming another car in the process) and took off. I stood around for half an hour after that waiting for the cops to show up. They never did.
