If the recent Super Bowl is any indication, fans can have a definite impact on the outcome of a game. Consequently, if you’re a fan of any sport whether it be basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer or football these are the cities you will want to call home.
1. Boston, MA
Fresh off their third World Series Championship in the last 10 years, the Boston Red Sox epitomize the city’s love for sports. After using the Boston Marathon Bombing as a rallying cry, the city of Boston has embraced their sports teams and used them as a coping mechanism for the tragedy. The city of Boston is also home to the NBA’s Celtics, the NFL’s Patriots and the NHL’s Bruins.
2. New York City, NY
New York City is home to the NHL’s Rangers and Islanders, the MLB’s Yankees and Mets, the NFL’s Jets and Giants and the NBA’s Knicks. Come during any of these seasons and the city is abuzz in excitement.
