It has been told that psychic worship dark forces and their gifts are from demonic spirits. Now people believe that prophets (prophesying) are from God and it is a gift from our heavenly father. The questions are who wrote the bible and divided the gift into evil and good? Is labeling the two gifts are a controlling measure for priests.  Christian people believe all psychics are devil worshipers and going to them are not good. However, going to a prophet in church are the work of God because he bestow that spiritual gift to his children.

If a person going to church to seek out answers or a quest from God choosing people for their life than pay them, is that a good thing. Now, if a person goes to a psychic and pay to seek out answer for their life and pay them is that a bad thing? Both individual are pretty much delivering the same duties to their seekers and getting paid for their gifts. The Pastor, Reverend or Bishop passes the offering tray around to the congregation to bless the prophet for his insightful gift. On the other hand, the psychic has people to pay them for their gifts too but their gifts are label as demonic that open the doors to negative spirits. For that reason, it's important for prophets and psychics to keep people coming to them for all their supernatural needs.

 How much controversy in this area. One source says it isn't the precognition that is bad according to the Bible. It is the "soothsayers" [fortune tellers]. People who sold their talents for money. There were a great many miracles in the Bible that we would give different names to. But, yes, a prophet does tell the future sometimes... and they are supposed to be led by God. The book of Revelations is all about foretelling the future.

God speak about not going to psychics to seek your future and he also talks about prophets that are false.  He said; watch out for false prophets, which are considering wolves in sheep clothing. Now the question is can both people with the same gift but different labels get their gifts from demonic spirits? Why can a psychic get his or her gifts from God? I am sure all psychics do not worship the underworld.

 Did some people in the bible have some level of psychic abilities? There were many seers that were divine. Even Jesus mother had a vision to leave for Egypt when she was pregnant. It’s just how you use your power for good or self gain that you need to worry about. How do we know that all prophets are from God of light? How do we know that all psychics are from God of darkness? Are we being deceived by labels of the different gifts? "Deuteronomy 18:10–13 (NIV) 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spirit’s or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is..." Each religion has a different view on this topic. Please seek out your religious views for answers. Then check out other views.

God says his children lack knowledge. We as human fears things that we do not know or understand so we seek out others to teach us or carry on our ancestor belief  instead of us seeking the knowledge our-self. Therefore, we are easy to be mislead and deceived. Lack of knowledge bring on stupidity, ignorance and blindness to the truth.
