Twenty Reason to Sign a Petition honoring Deshon Johnson with a plaque/bill

A Bill needs to be passed against NJ Transit/Coach USA drivers along with honoring those who lost their life due to the rude, aggressive, ill manner and none patient bus drivers.

Twenty reason why a bill, street name or plaque needs to be honor in Deshon's name. Also, others who lost their life due to state agency/others public transportation  in the town, county or state where the fatality took placed.

Responsibility needs to be taken by the bus drivers, and seen to be taken, so that those affected can find peace and resolution. The bus drivers need to be held reliable for all actions when driving a motor vehicle. The bus does not cause the death of human life it is the person who is driving. When a fatality such as this occurs it should not be label as mistake because mistake you can be erase and fixed. When you take a life it is unfix able. NJ Transit and other state wide public transportation need to be aware who they are hiring, whether it is drivers or subcontractor.
NJ Transit is a state agency and they do not care about the fatality or safety of innocent people. They are driven by the dollar signs.

Why this petition is important to me is because the following reasons…

1. The towns, state or county should display the plaque as an acknowledgement & reminder of what occurred in the past & to help protect innocent pedestrian in the future. If this simple gesture helps protect just one pedestrian, it is worth it.

2. To shine light where it is sadly lacking and provides at least a modicum of justice to those denied by cover-ups and deceit.

3. If a plaque assists one future pedestrian victim then it is worth installing. That possible outcome is of greater import than the bus company reputation or its discomfort in recognition of past injustice.

4. In support of those who were victims of careless, aggressive, reckless, none patient, rude bus drivers and to raise the awareness levels of those who can be future victims.

5. This plaque would serve as a sober reminder of what can happen when bus company poor training fail in their duty to protect our most vulnerable citizens; children, adults of all ages

6. Whatever can be done to ensure it never happens again should be! The plaque or law change is not only a great warning but also a great reminder to the bus drivers, NJ Transit/Coach USA and other worldwide public transportation that it can never take its responsibility for the protection of pedestrian lightly...

7. Important that victims are acknowledged & hopefully to assist in safety of future generations to have an awareness.

8. Victims deserve acknowledgement and a respectful apology to assist with reconciling the residual psychological burden.

9. The plaque will remind current and future bus drivers and bus companies of the need to be aware and the companies of its responsibility to be accountable for the innocent pedestrian placed in its care.  Along with a law pass with jail time and $20,000 fine for the bus drivers.

10. The law should be implementing for those who have suffered and are suffering because of the harm inflicted by others. I hope this helps victim family to heal a little because they know something is finally being done to reckless bus drivers.

11. My son was a victim of this horrible crime and it affects my life terribly.

12.I wish to sign on behalf of those victim families who suffered for years without any support and paid the dreadful unthinkable fatality in a hands of reckless aggressive none patient bus drivers.

13. It's important for the victim’s families and to demonstrate remorse by the scene where victim lost his/her life.

14.This is not an unreasonable request to help provide closure to victims of heinous crimes.

15. Not many days go by when I do not think about this issue and I was not even a victim of NJ Transit/Coach USA drivers reckless driving. I strongly support this, and would come from the other side of the globe to witness the unveiling.

16. I suggested all "profits" from our recent victim reunion be donated to family members who love ones was supporting them because that is lost of income. For anyone else involved with public transportation vehicle manslaughter please consider these sorts of organizations.

17. I think a plaque would be empowering for victims and an ongoing recognition by the bus companies that they seriously need to prevent any future fatality.

18.It gives dignity to those who suffered and permanently reminds all of us to be forever vigilant.

19.A small plaque is not too much to ask when you consider what was taken from the victims. This plaque is very important to the victims and their families. Please think of their pain and do the right thing finally.

20. Installing a plaque or adopting the street after the victim in the town or county best way of demonstrating to the public it is serious about addressing safety roads, curbs for pedestrian. It acknowledges the problem and tells the communities we are acknowledge the harm and tragedy caused on an innocent person and we want to stop this from  happening again. It takes bravery for the town, county and bus companies to admit the past wrongs. For the sake of children and adults of all ages that the town supposed to nurture and protect pedestrian such horrific tragedy. Especially when a town is under construction and traffic lights is not operating correctly.
